Unexpectedly, on a recent episode of "Jeopardy", a $2,000 clue featuring comedian Eric Andre left contestants Zoe Strassfield, Matt Brooks, and Cat Pisacano speechless. The clue in question carried a photo of Andre alongside: 'As host of this show he smashes his set every time,' but off-screen he lives a quiet life - meditation in the morning and jogging for breakfast with a salad on hand afterwards.

Despite the detail provided the three could not tell who Andre was. The incident came during the Double Jeopardy round. Host Ken Jennings eventually gave the answer himself, providing an amusing finish to events on this long-running TV quiz program.

In response to the occurrence, Andre took it to social media: "Damn they left me hanging," he cracked with a light heart about not figuring in a program as well known as Jeopardy.

When the evening concluded, Matt Brooks stood with $10,600.

Pisacano and Strassfield would not get enough to close after being fooled by the Andre clue.

Eric Andre's Absurd Antics

Best known as the host of Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show," Eric Andre has sought to ridicule the low-budget public access talk show with this unusual undertaking of a production.

Known for his interviews of celebrities in a style that is anything but conventional, this series once again enjoyed success during its sixth season which started last summer; such notable participants include Nas X as well as Jon Hamm.

When speaking to AP, Andre elaborated on his vision for the program: "I’m trying to just be the most absurd and incompetent talk show host of all time," he said. As he went further into it the show was defined as a departure from the traditional press, which consists of “fictitious propaganda” wherein celebrities are able to share insincerely paleous anecdotes.

Recently, Andre once again made headlines when his appearance alongside Madonna’s Los Angeles show, where he was part of her Celebration tour. In a shock move, he not only withdrew his trousers but also mooned the crowd during her performance of "Vogue," providing one more vulgar moment in a long string characterized by unpredictability.

It’s this combination of humour and surprise that sets Eric Andre apart from all other showmen, keeping spectators in suspense over what will happen next.
