Professional football player Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs has finally said no to reality television during his interview on the "Bussin' with the Boys" podcast on YouTube on the 24th of June. Kelce, whose motivation has been directed towards the enhancement of his career and the general entrepreneurship, indicated a dislike for the glamour of television cameras compared to that of the rubble of the football field.

"After Pat did it, I did get asked about it. I don’t know. I’d rather just play ball, man. I’m already doing enough with the podcast and everything." His firm stance on reality TV was clear, "I’m way over the ‘reality sh-- I’m out on that sh--." "Receiver" can be considered as a continuation of the 2023 production entitled "Quarterback" dedicated to such NFL players as Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, Marcus Mariota, and others.

Although, it is important to note that Kelce, did not follow the typical route of fame, fame that is caught on video and printed in magazines, but instead, he chose the upfront battle of the football field.

Kelce Praises Brother's Docuseries

Thus, in the conversation, Kelce spoke not only about professional restraint but also described the work of his brother, Jason Kelce.

He screamed applause for Jason's "Kelce," the docuseries on Prime Video that focuses on the final chapters of the latter and captures the struggles and successes that plagued him. "I think he did it the right way," Travis pointed out, meaning that he approved of the approach, which spared more details about the man’s suffering and focused on the accomplishments of the athletes.

However, his dislike for reality TV did not stop him from stepping into the fame zone right away. He entered into the other fields of reality television through E! in 2016, albeit a dating show, called "Catching Kelce" was soon taken off air.

Today, he is making rounds as the host of the new Prime Video show "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" Cleverly, the man is ready to act also, and he is going to do so in the upcoming FX series "Grotesquerie" which the host characterized as a 'mystery horror.'
