Joseph Quinn recalled the funny but rather embarrassing encounter with Taylor Swift that he has fond memories of. It happened during an interview with the host of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Josh Horowitz, where Quinn described the event.

Quinn, 30, who is an actor in "Stranger Things," described the encounter as "cringe." He said that he approached her and said to her, "You are Taylor Swift." Swift, famous for being humble replied back by telling him that she liked his show.

Quinn, who seemed to be embarrassed, said, "Oh, thanks, You are Taylor Swift I mean it as a compliment." Horowitz said this is a compliment. Quinn recalled his comment with a chuckle, saying, "It's definitely a compliment, and I remember thinking like that was f---ing stupid.

But she was very good-humored about it." The conversation shifted to a lighter note when Horowitz asked whether the two were okay with each other after the incident. Quinn agreed, saying: "Excellent, yeah, great terms," even cracking a joke that he might feature on one of Swift’s albums in the future.

“We are just trying to figure it out”, he said, but he noted that Swift has not contacted him about the collaboration.

Quinn's Swift Connection

It is unknown at what point in the day or on which day of the week they are scheduled to meet.

However, it is pertinent to note that Swift has a bond with Sadie Sink, an actress who has worked with Quinn in "Stranger Things" series; she also starred in Swift’s short film, "All Too Well" that was released in 2021.

Late last year, there were reports that season 5 of 'Stranger Things' would be the last as at the end of season 4, Quinn’s character, popularly known as Eddie Munson, had died. In an Entertainment Tonight interview, he noted his willingness and readiness to work with the cast again, saying, "Chances are high.

I love those guys! I'd love to say hello." Quinn also talked about his current activities and future plans. At the premiere of "A Quiet Place: Day One," he talked about portraying Johnny Storm, also known as The Human Torch, in the expected "Fantastic Four" motion picture.

He said that he also got a lot of help from his co-star Lupita Nyong’o. "She said that I'm going to have a blast and to enjoy it. She was very helpful when I was considering all of that stuff. She's obviously part of that world and spoke about her experience with a lot of fondness, so it was encouraging," as noted by Quinn.
