Michael J. Fox had rock star moments once more! The 63-years-man teamed up with Coldplay to perform as a guitarist while performing during the headlining on the stage at Glastonbury Festival in the UK on Saturday, June 29. When Fox started the saxophone, Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, warmly introduced him, praising him.

"With his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff: ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Michael J. Fox," Martin said this with a hint of Fox’s famous movie, Back to the Future, as stated by Variety. The band started with their song Humankind.

Moreover, Fox stuck around and picked his guitar, singing Coldplay’s Fix You. Their charisma remained strong, Fox inclusive despite having to be on a wheelchair for that part of the performance. It is to be noted that the star has been experiencing Parkinson’s Disease since 1991, but this does not affect his performances.

Fox's Inspiring Influence

During the interview after the performance, Martin, 47, said his 'thank you' words to Fox, who has an impact on his job. I will never forget this scene where Martin of the band said that the main reason they are in a band is because of 'Back to the Future', as reported by Variety.

"So thank you to Michael, our hero." Interestingly, this is not the first time Fox has been on stage, dancing with Coldplay. The actor performed with this band earlier in July 2016 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. They played Johnny B.

Goode, which is a song by Chuck Berry as famously used in the movie ‘Back to the Future. Coldplay is the fifth time headlining the Glastonbury Festival, as their performance this weekend proved. Earlier in the night, the band decided to pull out a total throwdown and open up for rapper Little Simz to premiere a new song.

Adding to the celebrity-studded extravaganza was the fiance to Martin, Dakota Johnson who was also seen watching the show through a live stream from the event. Not only did it please the audiences, but it also proved that Fox still had significance in the film and music industries years later. Speaking of Chris Martin, he was right on the money with saying that Fox is a hero to generations and true fans.
