Bob Odenkirk who won two Emmy awards has confirmed his return for Nobody 2 which is the sequel to the famous action thriller of 2021 produced by Universal Pictures and 87North.

Timo Tjahjanto of "The Night Comes for Us" will helm the sequel, which was adapted from the script by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem.

The film’s producers are Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, who are also returning alongside Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, and Braden Aftergood, who are all returning from the first movie. The sequel to "Nobody," which is set to launch on August 15, 2025, will be managed by Universal’s EVP of Production Development Jay Polidoro and Director of Development Tony Ducret.

While story particulars remain undisclosed, the first movie centred on Hutch Mansell (Odenkirk) an unassuming suburbanite, husband and father who is outed as a deadly former CIA operative after a home invasion assault. This sparks his latent skills, and he engages in a brutal shoot-out with a Russian drug lord.

Written by Kelly Kolstad, this first installment was highly appreciated for the black comedy elements typical of the writer and impressive action and stuns; directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film managed to top the domestic charts and collected more than $ 57 million worldwide despite the problems of the COVID-19 pandemic.
