The first public statements were made by Justin Timberlake after his recent arrest for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons, which resulted, of course, in his glassy-eyed mug shot. Timberlake said this to his fans at the United Center in Chicago on Friday night: “Y’all know it has been a tough week.

”This was part of his ‘Forget Tomorrow’ world tour concert, his first performance since Tuesday’s DWI arrest. It was also reported that Timberlake had already apologized to the people backstage. However, in his recent Chicago show, it was the first occasion that the 43-year-old, 10 Grammy award winner commented on the incident.

“I understand that I am probably a very difficult person to love sometimes but still, you love me right back,” Timberlake added, accepting clapping from the audience.

Timberlake's DWI Incident

Pop star Timberlake who is to perform at the Madison Square Garden on the 25th and 26th of June, is known to have taken a $21 Vesper Martini cocktail at the American Hotel in the Hamptons while having a dinner with friends.

After leaving in his gray 2025 BMW around 12:At 15 a. m. , he reportedly drove through a stop sign and was arrested. During the tragedy, Timberlake was charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for running a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane, as per the court documents.

The young officer who stopped Timberlake says that he did not know who he was. When Timberlake complained that the incident would “ruin the tour,” the officer, as seen on the bodycam footage, stated, ‘Which tour”? While Timberlake said that he only drank once, he declined three times to take a breathalyzer test, and he also failed the field sobriety tests.

He was later arrested and taken into custody. A witness at the bar recalled Timberlake as being heavily intoxicated. He even picked up another person’s drink and took a swig from it when they got up from the table. Timberlake was most notably seen in court the following morning in a bad state, dressed in a black baseball cap, a gray graphic T-shirt with the inscription “Live Circuit,” and a black short-sleeve button-up shirt.

He was released on the condition that he would provide no bail. Timberlake has, in the past, admitted to suffering from alcohol abuse problems. He has two children with actress Jessica Biel, to whom he got married in the year 2012.

When asked about the arrest, Biel, who was in Manhattan filming a movie at the time, stated to Us Weekly that she was shocked and extremely upset. In the worst-case-scenario, Timberlake could get a maximum of one year imprisonment in the Suffolk County Jail.

However, it is thought that another likely scenario would be a $500 fine and a 90-day suspension of his license to drive in New York due to his clean Criminal Record status.
