Justin Timberlake, who is busy promoting his latest albums, is also in the news for some other issues related to law. However, unlike any other stars, the famous singer is not going to follow the usual path of other famous stars and seek help in rehab after his DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, New York.

Although Timberlake was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, he will not be going to a rehabilitation center as widely publicized in the past, insiders say. This stands in contrast to the common reaction of many Hollywood celebrities, who are often quick to check into rehabilitation facilities in order to appease a judge and reduce possible legal consequences.

Timberlake’s past does not indicate irresponsible drinking behavior despite the severity of his arrest. Those people who have worked with him for years have accused him of having drinking problems, while others who have noticed that he is never out of control in public spaces refute the same.

This absence of any prior issues with alcohol and Timberlake’s relatively untainted record were important factors that set Timberlake apart from many of his colleagues in the industry.

Timberlake's Tour Continues

In 2007, Lindsay Lohan, due to a DUI arrest, was admitted to the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, which affected her trial in such a way that she was put on compulsory monitoring for alcohol, but she was not put in jail.

On the contrary, Timberlake tends to concentrate on his professional work. He is currently on a world tour and plans on performing the song in future shows, one of which is this Friday at United Center, Chicago. More of the tour has been scheduled to take place for the rest of the year on different continents.

It appears that Burke Jr is going to fiercely defend the arrest on behalf of Timberlake in the legal battle. This typical defensive strategy suggests the possibility of plea discussions before the police body cam video footage obtained on the fateful night of Timberlake’s arrest could be reviewed.

This part is very important, particularly if Timberlake was arrested for a traffic violation where he declined to take a breathalyzer test after admitting to having one martini. The legal proceedings are ongoing, with Timberlake’s next hearing set to take place on the 26th of July shortly.

Notably, this date falls on the day of his concert in Kraków, Poland, which could call for a new date for the hearing or can result in the earlier resolution of the case.
