Lenny Kravitz, the legendary man behind songs like "Fly Away," has been trying to sort out the intricacies in his life with a spiritual way of relating. At 60, Kravitz has remained without romantic inclinations for almost a decade, choosing instead to be celibate in the hope of a connection that would last far more significant than friendship.

In a revealing interview with The Guardian, Kravitz spoke about the deep reasons for his decision, stating that it was "a spiritual thing" and not just a mere lifestyle choice. Kravitz's journey to celibacy is steeped deeply in the preparedness and knowledge of oneself.

"I am very set in my ways and in the way I live," he told the host, hinting at the possibility of challenges likely to come with extended solitude. Notwithstanding, his commitment remains solid in his quest for a better partner than just a look or two.

Kravitz's Love Philosophy

In a candid chat on "CBS Mornings," Kravitz spoke about his love-finding philosophy. "You know when you desire something, you're looking for it, right? But I find that when you don't look is when you find it," he explained, illustrating his hopeful yet patient approach to love.

He expressed a readiness he hasn’t felt before, which has evolved over the years: "I wasn't ready. I thought I was, but I've never felt how I feel now." Kravitz first openly discussed his choice of celibacy in 2008 in an interview with Maxim, where he described it as a promise to himself until marriage.

His relationship perspective emphasizes the importance of intellectual and spiritual connection, stating, "Where I'm at in life, the women have got to come with something else, not just the body, but the mind and spirit." Previously married to actress Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993, with whom he shares a daughter, Zoë Kravitz, Lenny's romantic history has been notable.

Since his split from Bonet, his name has been linked with several high-profile women, including Adriana Lima, Nicole Kidman, and Vanessa Paradis. Yet, despite these connections, Kravitz's journey is a testament to his search for something more profound—a relationship that fully resonates with his spiritual and emotional aspirations.

As he navigates this phase of his life, Kravitz remains a figure of depth and introspection, continuously evolving both in his music and personal life.
