The actor, who is set to reprise his voice role in the live-action version, shared an endearing video on Instagram capturing the moment. The footage revealed Johnson walking into a room, only to be greeted by the joyous strains of "Happy Birthday," performed by the crew, including vocal supervisor Alex Lacamoire on piano.

Amidst the celebration, Johnson was visibly moved and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the team, including director Thomas Kail. The celebration featured a cookie cake, which Johnson ceremoniously blew out the candles on, echoing his gratitude and affection towards his team.

During the celebration, Johnson remarked on the progress of their project and expressed his excitement about bringing a new version of his character's iconic song "You're Welcome" to life.
