In a hard-hitting new ad narrated by Robert De Niro, the iconic actor minces no words in slamming Donald Trump, who is now running in Joe Biden's campaign for president. The 30-second TV and online spot airing in key swing states casts Trump as the vengeful figure looking to take back his throne.

Throughout his presidency, De Niro has been a striking critic of Trump and just goes on to make a video: "We knew Trump was out of control when he was president. Then he lost the 2020 election and fried, desperate to hold onto power." In one, the actor is heard saying the former U.S.

leader "wants revenge and will stop at nothing to get it" against a backdrop of harrowing images of the attack. Capitol. Julie Chavez Rodriguez, speaking as the campaign manager for Biden, made a statement regarding the value of the ad: "This ad lays out the clear contrast voters will see a month from now when Trump stands on the debate stage next to Joe Biden: Trump is running to regain power for himself, Joe Biden is running to serve you, the American people."

Constitutional Threat Highlighted

Further amplifying the campaign's message, De Niro calls attention to Trump's controversial remarks over the years, including a chilling statement where he threatens to "terminate the Constitution." This reference alludes to Trump’s comments at a Fox News town hall and a post on Truth Social, where he entertained the idea of sidelining the Constitution amid baseless claims of election fraud.

The advertisement also recalls Trump’s infamous "bleach" comments during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, suggesting the injection of a disinfectant as a treatment, which highlights a pattern of reckless statements.

Support for Biden’s reelection stretches far and wide in the celebrity world, evidenced by a star-studded March fundraiser featuring personalities like Mindy Kaling, Lizzo, Stephen Colbert, and Cynthia Erivo, among others.

An upcoming June event in Los Angeles is expected to draw support from heavyweights like George Clooney and Julia Roberts, demonstrating the broad entertainment industry backing for Biden’s campaign.
