Jimmy Kimmel recently criticized former President Donald Trump and his supporters over a controversial video shared on Trump’s Truth Social platform. The video, which has since been deleted, referenced creating a "unified Reich" if Trump were to win back the White House.

This alarming phrase drew immediate backlash, with President Joe Biden’s campaign accusing Trump of “echoing Nazi Germany”. On his late-night show, Kimmel didn't hold back his disdain. “What else does this man have to do for people to see what he is?” Kimmel asked his audience on Tuesday night.

“Grow the mustache? What if he grew the mustache? What if he grew a little blond Hitler mustache? Started strutting around with his arm out straight?”

Challenging Supporters' Loyalty

Kimmel continued to challenge the allegiance of Trump supporters, questioning their limits.

“You think it would have any effect? How many of his supporters do you think would say, ‘Alright that’s too much for me.’ I guess maybe 10,” he speculated. This scathing commentary highlights the ongoing division and intense emotions surrounding Trump’s rhetoric and the unwavering loyalty of some of his followers.

The late-night host also coined a new nickname for Trump: “Reich Tyson,” further emphasizing the disturbing nature of the video’s content. The nickname is a play on words, combining the notorious historical reference with Trump’s perceived aggressive demeanor.

This incident underscores the heightened political tensions as the 2024 presidential race approaches. Trump’s use of provocative language and imagery continues to stir controversy and spark intense debate. Critics argue that such rhetoric is dangerous and undermines democratic values, while supporters often dismiss these concerns as overblown or misinterpreted.
