In a recent legal development, iconic singer Frankie Valli has obtained a three-year restraining order against his eldest son, Francesco Valli, following a disturbing series of events. A Los Angeles court mandated that Francesco must maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from the 90-year-old "Jersey Boys" star and his property, with the order in place until 2027.

The court's decision came after Frankie's younger son, Emilio Valli, 29, filed for a domestic violence restraining order on April 8, naming his father as an additional protected person. The petition was prompted by an alleged incident on April 5 at Frankie Valli's home, where Francesco, 36, reportedly attempted to enter the property forcibly.

According to the court documents, while waiting for the police to arrive, Francesco repeatedly threatened to harm or kill his brother Emilio. The documents detail a troubling pattern over the past several months, including numerous threats directed at both Emilio and their father, Frankie, as well as several attempts to breach Frankie’s residence.

Family Strife Deepens

A representative for Frankie Valli expressed the singer's distress over the situation, stating to USA TODAY, "Frankie is saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family matters." Further complicating the family dynamics, Emilio revealed in the court filings that they suspect Francesco is battling an opiate addiction.

He noted that the threats intensified after Frankie conditioned his financial support on Francesco entering a residential drug treatment program. Emilio also accused Francesco of stealing personal items and selling them. This family drama unfolded just days before Frankie Valli was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During the ceremony, which Emilio and his twin brother, Brando Valli, attended, Frankie touched on the significance of the event, remarking, "This is really a highlight of my life, especially having my sons here and my wife sitting right there." He invited his family members to stand briefly during his speech, marking a poignant moment amid the ongoing family strife.

Frankie Valli, who has had a storied career with hits like "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," shares sons Francesco, Emilio, and Brando with his ex-wife Randy Clohessy, and daughters Antonia and Francine Valli with another ex-wife, Mary Mandel.

The restraining order casts a shadow over what has otherwise been a celebratory time for the Valli family, underscoring the complex personal challenges they face.
