Netflix is set to host an uproarious event with "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady" on May 8, featuring a glittering array of guests from the sports and entertainment world. This eagerly anticipated roast will bring together iconic figures like former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, and Brady's close associates and former teammates including Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, and Drew Bledsoe.

Adding a touch of Hollywood to the event, Oscar-winner Ben Affleck is also expected to participate, raising the star power of the evening. The roast, to be hosted by the charismatic comedian Kevin Hart, promises an evening filled with humor and memorable moments.

It's scheduled to air live on May 5 at 8 p.m. EST, showcasing a blend of sports legends and entertainment figures who will share the stage to celebrate and humorously tribute one of the NFL's greatest quarterbacks. Originally announced in May 2022, this special event was delayed but is now poised for release in 2024.

Brady is not only the center of the roast but also serves as an executive producer. This arrangement highlights Brady’s active involvement and commitment to the project, ensuring that it resonates with both his fans and a broader audience.

Brady's Next Chapter

Robbie Praw, Netflix’s Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy Formats, shared his enthusiasm about the project, saying, "We can't wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL to delay this roast." Despite the playful jab, Praw expressed immense admiration for Brady, adding, "It's a huge thrill to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project.

No one's better at taking hits and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a breeze for Brady." As Brady transitions from the gridiron to the broadcasting booth, he continues to build on his impressive legacy.

Starting in 2024, he will take on a new role as the lead color commentator for the NFL on Fox. This new chapter follows an illustrious playing career during which Brady earned a staggering $332.19 million, contributing to an estimated net worth of $530 million, according to Forbes.
