Emmy-nominated actor Adam Scott, renowned for his role in AppleTV+'s "Severance," is branching into directing with his debut feature film "Double Booked," where he will star alongside a stellar cast including Oscar nominee Sterling K.

Brown, Zazie Beetz, and Alexandra Daddario. The announcement has generated significant buzz as Protagonist Pictures prepares to launch international sales at the Cannes market, with representation in North America by UTA Independent Film Group and CAA.

"Double Booked" introduces us to a self-help author played by Scott, who, along with his expectant wife (Beetz), plans a tranquil weekend at a remote lodge. Their peace is shattered upon the arrival of another couple (Brown and Daddario) at the same cabin due to a booking error.

Trapped together by an incoming blizzard, a simple mistake spirals into a dangerous night of deception and life-threatening consequences. David Levinson penned the script, which promises a gripping thriller packed with suspense and unexpected twists.

Adam Goodman, Matt Skiena of Dichotomy Creative Group, and Scott and Naomi Scott from Great Scott Productions are producing the film.

This project marks a significant step in Scott's career and promises to be a compelling addition to the thriller genre.
