British actor and screenwriter Jamie Bacon, celebrated for his dual role in creating and starring in the 2018 film "Into the Mirror" and appearing in notable productions like Netflix's "White Lines" and the Stephen Cookson-directed "Brighton," has officially signed with United Agents in the UK.

This partnership marks a significant step in Bacon's burgeoning career, as he will now be represented by United's esteemed literary agent, Charles Walker. As part of United Agents, Bacon joins an impressive roster of talents including Taron Egerton, James Corden, Kate Winslet, Olivia Colman, Ricky Gervais, and Kit Harington.

The agency is renowned for its comprehensive representation of actors, writers, and directors, with notable clients such as Richard Curtis, Emerald Fennell, and Sharon Horgan, and also boasts a strong literary and book division.

Jamie Bacon's current and upcoming projects are as thrilling as his new representation. He is prominently involved in the BBC’s highly anticipated Lennie James vehicle "Mr Loverman," which is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June.

Additionally, Bacon recently wrapped up shooting for Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor’s debut feature film "Dreamers." His dynamic career doesn't stop here; Bacon is also gearing up for his role in Pradeep Shahi’s "Eklo: The Final Survivor," scheduled to begin production in Nepal this August.

Expanding Creative Ventures

Further expanding his creative horizon, Bacon is developing a new crime drama series titled "The Smiths." This four-part series promises to captivate audiences with Sheridan Smith in the lead role and Emma Burge (known for her work on "Shameless") as the producer.

Previously, Bacon made waves with "In the Mirror," a thriller that enjoyed a successful theatrical run in the U.S. and is now available on Prime Video through his Dean Street Productions label. Looking ahead, Bacon is working diligently on his second feature, "The Fish in Me," which is anticipated to solidify his standing in the film industry further.

With Jamie Bacon's diverse and active involvement in various high-profile projects and his new alignment with United Agents, the entertainment industry eagerly awaits the innovative narratives and compelling performances he will bring to both the silver screen and television.
