But just yesterday, on an episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, the host not known for meekness did something to set numerous tongues wagging with an equal measure of boldness: that the kid's network Nickelodeon is, in a way, Michael Jackson's version of the notorious Neverland Ranch.

During his show, Maher railed against the network after the debut of Quiet on the Set. This Max documentary series supposedly involves allegations of child actors being se----ly molested and raped by Nickelodeon employees in the late 90s to early 2000s.

Bill Maher, known for his sharp wit and often contrarian views, didn't hold back in his critique of what he described as a disturbing culture within Nickelodeon, likening it to "Neverland Ranch with craft services." His comments have since received a notable endorsement from tech mogul Elon Musk, who expressed his agreement on his X social media platform.

"Wow, Bill Maher hits the bullseye," Musk declared after a clip from Maher's show went viral online.

Nickelodeon's Dark Reality

The documentary Quiet on Set portrays a grim picture of young Hollywood, exposing a history of alleged abuses that Maher recounted as "scene after scene of the child stars of their day being exposed to… degradation." The host related his discomfort with the content, remarking, "I was grossed out and I’ve gone camping with John Waters." In addition to critiquing Nickelodeon, Maher used the opportunity to comment on broader issues involving progressive views on gender identity and youth, which he often labels as "anti-woke." His commentary extended to a defense of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's criticisms of Disney for what he perceives as its overly progressive stance on gender and s------ty topics.

Maher pointed out the irony in the liberal backlash against Nickelodeon when similar issues were previously dismissed when raised about Disney. Maher's remarks extended further into contentious territory as he criticized the presence of drag queens in children's reading events at libraries and the alignment with LGBT identities among young people.

He argued that such actions often distort traditional liberalism, stating, "Wokeness is not an extension of liberalism anymore; it’s more often taking something so far that it becomes the opposite."
