Meghan Markle flashed smiles and support as Prince Harry took to the field at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida, on April 12. Showing strong support for her husband, the Duchess of Sussex was in attendance as the Duke played in the charity polo match to raise money for Sentebale, a charity he co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.

This event propelled to the forefront this sport as a vehicle for the advocacy of children affected by poverty, HIV/AIDS, and inequality in Africa. They showed their firm bond as they appeared at the high-profile event, also graced by tennis legend Serena Williams.

That has forged a new path living in the U.S. following stepping back from royal duties. Meghan looked to be rocking one of her many 2018 wedding reception looks—one of which was an absolutely beautiful white halter dress by Stella McCartney—as they cheered Harry on while he got on top of his horse.

This personal touch underscored her role not just as his wife but also his biggest supporter.

Harry's Polo Passion

Prince Harry's involvement in the match is more than a charity; this is a continuation of a lifetime passion.

Polo has been a significant sport in Harry’s life, shared with his father King Charles III and brother Prince William. Moreover, Harry is also trying his hand on the professional side of polo with Netflix producing a series on the sport under the banner of Archewell Productions, a production company of his wife, Meghan.

It's one of two series she has with Netflix, following the much-buzzed-about "Harry & Meghan" series in 2022. The event concluded with Prince Harry’s team, the Grand Champions, clinching a victory with a score of 3-1.

The victory made Meghan break out into a big smile and kiss Harry very big before walking toward the winner's circle, a very happy moment and a show of togetherness. Also present at the match, among many others, was Serena Williams, a very close friend of the couple, who found them engaging in warm exchanges.

Mix in celebrity and sports with a generous philanthropic cause, and you have the recipe for some truly exciting stuff; it will surely be an inspiring testament to how the couple sets out to help in making the world a better place.
