Tech entrepreneur Christian Richard has officially filed for divorce from "Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn, just over two weeks after his arrest for domestic violence at their Los Angeles residence. Citing "irreconcilable differences," Richard is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their two-year-old son, Christian Jr., and is requesting termination of Quinn's ability to seek spousal support, though he is not seeking alimony.

The news comes amidst a tumultuous March for the couple. Richard was arrested on March 19 after allegedly hitting their son with a glass bottle during an argument about Quinn's untrained dogs. Although the child was not seriously injured, Richard was booked for assault with a deadly weapon.

Despite a restraining order, he was arrested a second time for returning to their shared home, leading to his release on March 21. In response, both parties filed restraining orders against each other, with Quinn alleging Richard faked a suicide attempt and suffers from serious mental health issues.

However, police found no evidence of recording devices after Quinn feared she was being spied on.

Entertainment Industry Drama

The couple married in 2019 and welcomed their son in May 2021. Quinn, known for her role on "Selling Sunset," announced her departure from the show in 2022, subsequently launching their own real estate company, RealOpen.

The divorce proceedings add to the drama surrounding the couple, whose relationship has garnered public attention due to their involvement in the entertainment industry. As the legal battle unfolds, the spotlight remains on the personal lives of these high-profile figures, with fans and followers closely following developments.

The situation highlights broader issues of domestic violence and the complexities of relationships in the public eye. While the couple navigates their personal challenges, the impact reverberates beyond their individual lives, shedding light on larger societal conversations surrounding family dynamics and the pressures of fame.

In the midst of speculation and scrutiny, both Richard and Quinn face the daunting task of managing their public image while addressing deeply personal matters. As the story unfolds, the public remains invested in the outcome, eagerly awaiting further updates on the couple's tumultuous journey.
