Talented actor Chance Perdomo, best known for his infectious charisma in "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," "Gen V," and the "After" movies, has tragically died at just 27 years old. A representative told PEOPLE that the young actor had suffered injuries following a motorcycle accident.

The incident with other parties has sent shockwaves through the acting fraternity and fans around the world. His family and managers issued a touching statement on Wednesday, saying that his passion for the arts and life will be felt among all people who knew him.

"His warmth and exuberance for life could not be kept to himself, touching all who knew him," his family said in a statement. "At this sad time, we would ask the press and public to respect our privacy as we continue to grieve the loss of our dear son and brother.

"Gen V" Production Delayed

The untimely death of Perdomo has further pushed the production of "Gen V" season two. This popular series, belonging to the genre of action-comedy on Prime Video, was his breakthrough opportunity, where he portrayed the character of Andre Anderson.

The development follows earlier reports by Deadline, which went on to break the news of his death. "Gen V" production team grieves on X (formerly Twitter), with one of them saying, "Perdomo was an incredibly talented and energetic person, and his kindness and generosity of soul inspired us.

"It's surreal to speak of him in the past tense. Our thoughts are with his family during this incredibly difficult time, and we are all left to mourn the loss of a dear friend and a bright light in our 'Gen V' family," they said.

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television paid tribute to Perdomo expressing their devastation at his sudden demise. "Our hearts go out to Chance's family, friends, and all who cherished him. His untimely death leaves a void in our 'Gen V' family and the broader acting community," they added.

Hailing from Southampton, England, Perdomo was born and raised with a lawyer as his first calling. The irrepressible calling to the arts brought him into the arms of the National Youth Theater of London. His character in "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" on Netflix and Landon Gibson in the subsequent franchise of the "After" series made him a very favorite character with a lot of fan following.

The indie film, "Bad Man," based on a true story, became his last shooting work; its shooting had been finished back in February. This is a fact of approval of being surely devoted to one's own business.
