The actor, Paul Wesley, best known for his role as Stefan Salvatore in the cult series "The Vampire Diaries," offered fans hope of a possible return to the supernatural world of Mystic Falls in a recent exclusive interview with E!

News. Wesley, famous for his role of Stefan Salvatore, is ready to take part in all the future projects that could spin from the show, but on one very interesting condition. In a light-hearted chat, he entertained the audience at the Garden of Laughs comedy benefit, raising $2 million to help young people who are suffering from illness, struggling with financial burdens, and grief.

He further commented on some very interesting comments for a possible new installment in the show. "There's gotta be some vampires in there, right?" he mused of his and Ian Somerhalder's venture, Brother's Bond Bourbon, acting as a possible key sponsor to such a project.

"Maybe I'd consider a guest star," Wesley teased, leaving fans very excited about the prospect.

Enduring Vampire Bonds

This, of course, follows on the heels of every possible "Vampire Diaries" reboot or spin-off under the sun, a storyline that has basically been at the center of fan conversations since the show went off the air in 2017.

Wesley's comments really hit at a deep value for the show and lifelong friendships forged with co-stars like Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev. Wesley commented that he is in conversation many times with Somerhalder and Dobrev, stating that the relationships between the cast are forever.

Reflecting on the effect that "The Vampire Diaries" played in his fellow actors' career lives, he credits the huge show. During one of the past Comic-Cons, Dobrev had said how it was amazing to come there every year and see the lasting passion and enthusiasm of the show's fans, something she said was a very cool experience for the cast.

Now, one never knows: with the kind of comments Nina Dobrev shared about being open to further vampire narratives, there remains a chance that at least once in his career, Wesley shall return for an incredibly compelling project and auteur directors that could include Steven Spielberg or Martin Scorsese.

And as discussion of the future of "The Vampire Diaries" universe heats up, Wesley's latest contribution is a hopeful sign for fans of the series that more stories from Mystic Falls could still be in the offing.
