In a candid revelation on the latest episode of the "Vanderpump Rules: After Show," Tom Sandoval, the 41-year-old co-owner of Schwartz & Sandy's, expressed his long-standing aspiration to participate in the ABC dance competition, "Dancing with the Stars." Sandoval, embroiled in what has been dubbed 'Scandoval' following a highly publicized infidelity scandal, shared his enthusiasm for ballroom dancing, stating, "It was always a dream of mine." "I actually took ballroom lessons and everything," Sandoval disclosed, elaborating on his dedication to pursuing this dream, which included years of practice with a unique item, a "ninja sword, signed by Randy Jackson." His ambition was to showcase his talents on the dance floor of the esteemed show, a journey he had been preparing for diligently.

Jesting Amid Scandal

Amid this revelation, Sandoval's friend and business partner, Tom Schwartz, chimed in with a playful twist, suggesting Sandoval might be more suited for a hypothetical show titled "Dancing with the Fallen Stars." This jest comes in light of Sandoval's recent personal turmoil, further intensified as his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, 38, made her own debut on "Dancing with the Stars" subsequent to their split over Sandoval's affair with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss.

Madix, on the same after-show segment, discussed her decision to join the dance competition, a move she opted to keep under wraps from most of her circle, including friends and co-stars. "I didn't tell anybody. But I did tell Logan [Cochran] and obviously my team, who was working on it, they all knew," Madix revealed.

She described the precarious period before her participation was confirmed, fearing that premature rumors might jeopardize her chance on the show. Scheana Shay, 38, another "Vanderpump Rules" cast member, shared her feelings of disappointment upon learning of Madix's casting through channels other than Madix herself.

Shay, who has been a long-time fan of "Dancing with the Stars," lamented not hearing the news directly from Madix, highlighting the complexity of their shared dreams and personal aspirations amidst the backdrop of their reality TV lives.

This unfolding saga not only highlights the personal and professional aspirations of those involved but also sheds light on the intricate dynamics of friendship, ambition, and the quest for redemption in the public eye, against the glamorous yet often unforgiving backdrop of celebrity culture.
