Past Winners Spotlight

Reflecting on previous years, Jelly Roll emerged as the most-awarded artist in 2023 with three wins, while Cody Johnson held the title in 2022 with two victories. These accolades highlight the artists' remarkable impact and deep connection with the audience.

Jelly Roll's heartfelt statement to The Tennessean in 2023 resonated with many: "For a long time, people have wanted to see an underdog like myself pull something off. However, even if my fans and I don't win, we've already won a nomination call for a celebration." In addition to celebrating last year's winners, this year's nominations include an impressive lineup of fourteen first-time nominees, bringing fresh faces and sounds to the forefront.

This diverse group includes Amber Riley, Ashley Cooke, Bret Michaels, and many others, along with four 2024 CMT Next Women of Country members, highlighting the awards' commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of talent. The "Video of the Year" award, the evening's most prestigious accolade, features an interactive voting process that continues during the live broadcast.

From an initial list of 16 nominees, the field will narrow to six by April 1, with the final three contenders announced on the day of the show. First-time nominees in this category include Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis, and Parmalee, with Kane Brown and Mickey Guyton also vying for the top spot.
