Fred Warner, linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers, and Sydney Warner, known for her appearance on "The Bachelor," have stepped into the world of parenthood with the birth of their first child, Beau Anthony Warner. On Thursday, March 7th, in San Jose, California, the couple's representative exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that the Warner family has welcomed a new member.

Beau's arrival was anticipated, and after a cesarean section necessitated by his breech position, the couple joyfully announced, "Sydney's surgery went well. He’s a healthy boy! We’re over the moon and can’t wait to get home from the hospital and start our new life." In anticipation of Beau's arrival, Sydney Warner shared poignant moments on social media, capturing the final days of her pregnancy.

"Last bump pic before our lives change forever ?????," she captioned a series of photos on Instagram, showcasing her in the hospital before giving birth.

Cherishing First Moments

The new mother had previously expressed her excitement and the unique joy of savoring the final weeks of pregnancy with PEOPLE.

She looked forward to the intimate moments ahead with her husband, Fred, emphasizing the once-in-a-lifetime experience of becoming first-time parents. "We're never going to be first-time parents again. It's exciting and it's a sweet time," she shared, highlighting the anticipation and cherished quiet moments before their son's arrival.

Sydney also expressed eagerness to join the community of NFL families, looking forward to sharing the excitement of the football season with their son and becoming part of the "NFL mama crew." This sentiment underscores the close-knit nature of the NFL community, where families share and celebrate milestones together.

Fred and Sydney Warner, whose love story captured hearts after Fred's proposal in May 2021 and their subsequent wedding in June 2022 in Vista, California, have been eagerly sharing their journey to parenthood. Announcing their pregnancy in October with a heartwarming ultrasound video, they've kept fans updated, culminating in the reveal of their baby boy's gender with a cake-cutting ceremony that showcased blue icing, symbolizing the joy and love they already have for their son.

As they embark on this new chapter, the Warners' transition into parenthood symbolizes not only a personal milestone but also an extension of their love story, one that has captivated fans since their engagement and continues as they welcome Beau Anthony into their lives and the broader NFL family.
