Eva Mendes, while not physically present at the glitzy 2024 Oscars alongside her partner Ryan Gosling, sent out a heartwarming message of support and a playful nudge to return home for family duties. Gosling, who lit up the stage with his performance from the hit movie "Barbie," received a special shout-out from Mendes through a stylish Instagram post.

Donning a pink blazer and a black cowboy hat, Mendes celebrated Gosling's portrayal of Ken at the Oscars, hinting at the balance of their glamorous and grounded family life with a cheeky caption urging him to come home to put their children to bed.

The couple, known for their roles in the 2012 drama "The Place Beyond the Pines," share a beautiful family with their daughters, 9-year-old Esmeralda and 7-year-old Amada.

Gosling's performance at the 96th Academy Awards was nothing short of spectacular. Dressed in a vibrant pink suit, he performed the Best Original Song nominee "I'm Just Ken," accompanied by the legendary Slash and a host of dancers and fellow "Barbie" movie Kens including Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Ncuti Gatwa.

The performance featured Gosling being carried around the stage among cardboard cutouts of Barbie, showcasing a blend of cinematic and musical talents that captivated the audience.

Star-Studded Barbie Tribute

Notably, Gosling initiated his performance with a subtle nod to his "Barbie" co-star Margot Robbie and concluded it among a gathering of stars including Robbie, Greta Gerwig, America Ferrera, and his "La La Land" co-star Emma Stone.

Despite Gerwig and Robbie's Oscar snubs this year, the performance stood out as a celebration of the film's impact and the collective talent involved. Adding to the evening's entertainment, Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell also delivered a memorable performance of their nominated song from "Barbie," further highlighting the film's influence on this year's awards.

Mendes, in her social media posts, emphasizes her unwavering support for Gosling, sharing a glimpse into their personal life with a video outside his dressing room during rehearsals, showcasing her dedication and pride in Gosling's work.

Despite their daughters not having seen the entirety of "Barbie," Mendes and Gosling's sharing of "little parts" and set visits for their musical numbers reflect their family-oriented approach to Gosling's cinematic endeavors, blending Hollywood glamour with the authenticity of family life.
