Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good, two luminaries in the world of entertainment, officially stepped out as a couple during the weekend, making waves as they graced the red carpet together for the first time. Their appearance was at the esteemed African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Special Achievement Awards Luncheon, an event held at the prestigious Los Angeles Athletic Club on Sunday.

This outing not only signified their debut as a couple but also marked Majors' first red carpet appearance following his recent legal proceedings. At 34, Jonathan Majors, known for his compelling performances and dynamic roles, opted for a sophisticated ensemble featuring a blue button-down paired with a navy sweater, accented by a stylish grey coat and black trousers.

The look was completed with a chic black beret, adding an artistic flair to his attire. Meagan Good, 42, radiated elegance in a stunning pale yellow off-the-shoulder dress that highlighted her sculpted physique, complemented by her flowing red and brown hair that softly framed her face.

Red Carpet Support

The duo, who began their romantic journey in May 2023, attended the luncheon to show their support for filmmaker Deon Taylor, an honoree of the night. This occasion was particularly poignant for Majors, as it was his first public appearance since being found guilty of misdemeanor third-degree assault and second-degree harassment in December, stemming from an incident in March 2023.

The charges were related to an altercation in New York City involving his former partner, Grace Jabbari. In a heartfelt interview with "Good Morning America" post-verdict, Majors vehemently denied ever physically harming Jabbari, expressing a profound desire for clarity and peace regarding the allegations.

"My hands have never struck a woman—ever," he stated, emphasizing his innocence and confusion over Jabbari's injuries. During this challenging period, Majors has found solace and unwavering support in Meagan Good, whom he affectionately likened to an angel, comparing her support to that of Coretta Scott King.

He openly shared his gratitude for Good's presence in his life, noting the newness of their relationship but also the deep connection they share. The repercussions of Majors' legal situation have been significant, with Disney and Marvel Studios severing ties with the actor, who was set to play a pivotal role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the villain Kang the Conqueror.

Additionally, Majors was removed from the project "48 Hours in Vegas," where he was to portray Dennis Rodman. As he awaits sentencing in April, Majors' future in Hollywood remains uncertain, yet his personal life, with Good by his side, offers a glimmer of hope and steadfast support amidst the turmoil.
