"Ted Lasso" star and newly minted SAG Award-winning actress Hannah Waddingham moseyed on into an afterparty Sunday night in something far cozier and comfier than her shimmering awards attire. First, the 49-year-old appeared on the red carpet wearing a fabulous Tony Ward Couture frock—an eye-popping piece of red, off-the-shoulder etiquette.

She did, however, change into more casual attire shortly after when she joined her "Ted Lasso" co-stars for post-award celebrations. The gala, hosted by People, saw Waddingham in the rather bold choice of a Nike tracksuit—a salute to AFC Richmond, the fictive football club the series "Ted Lasso" revolves around.

But really, it was what she did with her accessories that drew the eyes more than anything else, as she added a bedazzled soccer-ball clutch to the outfit, designed by none other than Judith Leiber herself, who's known as a favorite of celebrities when it comes to such pieces.

That is very largely true of another standout piece as well - a $3,995 sequined and bejeweled jumpsuit that fits like a glove into Waddingham's ideas of high style and luxury. She wore the clutch around her body as she engaged with other guests in the room, taking snapshots and showing the glittering accessory with joy during the evening.

This was particularly a huge importance to the fashion statement, since this was a last event of celebration of the season to honor "Ted Lasso," following its final season, and the clutch gracefully represented the show.

Waddingham's Unique Style

Earlier in the evening, while on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet, Waddingham went an even more intimate and less typical route for her clutch: She carried a cardboard piece that was designed for her by her 9-year-old daughter, Kitty, and bedazzled with colorful doodles as well as the word "epic." This move definitely communicated the very essence of Waddingham wearing the hat of motherhood first and foremost, as she inferred during a pre-show interview with Netflix.

Waddingham has a great history of making utterly singular fashion choices for these industry occasions. At the Emmy Awards, where in 2022 she was dressed in a pink Dolce and Gabbana gown, she wore togs from her footwear that had sparkling sneakers where the tulle layers are.

It's this fusion of high fashion with all the elements listed that keeps Hannah Waddingham in a class all her own—on the red carpet and beyond.
