The cast of HBO's hit series "Euphoria" continues to feel the profound absence of their late co-star, Angus Cloud. In a recent heart-to-heart with Vanity Fair for their 30th annual Hollywood issue, Colman Domingo, known for his role as Ali, mentor to Zendaya's character Rue, opened up about the impact of Cloud's untimely passing.

Cloud, who portrayed the beloved character Fezco, passed away at the tender age of 25 on July 31, 2023, leaving a void not only in the hearts of his colleagues but in the narrative of the show's upcoming third season. Domingo, 54, shared how the loss of Cloud, followed by the death of producer Kevin Turen at 44 in November 2023, deeply affected the cast and the creative process of "Euphoria." Reflecting on Cloud's unique personality, Domingo remarked, "He was a wild one.

I love him. He was a wild little brother. He was just sweet and funny and warm and odd at the same time. And I love people like that." This sentiment underscores the special bond formed among the cast members, who have collectively grieved and celebrated Cloud's life and contributions to the show.

Euphoria: Reflective Resurgence

Domingo, an Academy Award nominee, also shed light on the loss of Turen and how these tragedies have prompted a reevaluation of their work. He emphasized the importance of not resting on past successes but continually seeking meaning and purpose in their art.

As fans eagerly await the third season of "Euphoria," which premiered its second season in January 2022, Domingo hinted at the challenges and beauty that lie ahead in the new episodes. He praised the show's creator, Sam Levinson, for his deep examination of hope and faith, particularly in characters who are navigating their way through struggles.

The actor, known for his role in "Rustin," shared his insights on Levinson's kindness and creative vision. However, how Cloud's character Fezco will be written out of the series remains a poignant question, one that fans and the cast alike are waiting to see unfold.

While Domingo remained tight-lipped about the specifics of season 3, he confirmed his involvement with a laugh, promising an instalment that will challenge and captivate the audience in the most beautiful ways.
