In a recent development within the British monarchy, Buckingham Palace has seemingly dismissed the possibility of Prince Harry rejoining the royal family. Sources close to the Palace, speaking to The Daily Mail, have emphasized a definitive closure to this chapter, citing a "no way back" for the Duke of Suss-x.

This firm stance follows the high-profile departure of Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, from royal duties in 2020, and their subsequent critical comments about the royal family. Contrary to earlier speculations, it appears that Prince Harry has a "zero percent chance" of stepping in to assist as his father, King Charles III, undergoes treatment for cancer.

This statement also extends to any potential support he might offer while his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, recovers from abdominal surgery. These revelations come despite reports earlier this week from Page Six, indicating that Prince Harry, who is fifth in line to the throne, would be open to resuming royal responsibilities if requested.

Sources close to Prince Harry have expressed that while he might not actively seek to return to royal duties, he would likely not refuse a direct request from his father. "I have a hard time believing if his dad asks for his help that Harry would say no, I think he would try," one source noted.

Prince Harry's Royal Return

Despite the estranged relationship with the royal family, Prince Harry promptly returned to the UK to visit King Charles III following the announcement of the latter's cancer diagnosis. Speaking on "Good Morning America," Harry shared, "I spoke to him.

I jumped on a plane and went to see him as soon as I could." He expressed gratitude for being able to spend time with his father during this visit, which reportedly lasted just over a day, including a 30-minute meeting. The relationship between Prince Harry and his father has been notably strained, particularly following Harry and Meghan's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 and the release of Harry’s memoir, "Spare," in which he made several candid and controversial revelations about his family.

Amid these tensions, Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle, 42, have reportedly been navigating a path toward reconciling with the royal family. However, these efforts faced setbacks with the publication of royal reporter Omid Scobie's new book, alleging that Charles and Middleton were responsible for comments about the skin color of Harry and Meghan's then-unborn child, Prince Archie.

This claim has added another layer of complexity to the already delicate dynamics within the royal family. As of now, representatives for the royal family have not responded to these latest allegations.
