Taylor Swift, the renowned pop icon, has reportedly streamlined her fleet of private aircraft, opting to part ways with one of her luxurious jets. Sources confirm that the 34-year-old singer-songwriter recently finalized the sale of her Dassault Falcon 900, a decision that trims her collection down to a single private jet.

This transaction was discreetly carried out, with details emerging from the Federal Aviation Authority's (FAA) official records. The aircraft, previously under the ownership of SATA LLC—a company with a shared address with Taylor Swift Productions in Nashville—changed hands on January 30.

The Dassault Falcon 900, a model boasting a new price tag of approximately $44 million, is now listed under a Missouri-based corporation. Swift, who had been in possession of the jet since 2009, still retains ownership of a Dassault 7X, a slightly larger and more capable jet suited for extended flights.

This remaining jet is registered to Island Jet Inc, another entity linked to Taylor Swift Productions.

Swift's Jet Controversy

The Dassault 7X, known for its capacity to carry up to 16 passengers, stands as Swift's choice for long-haul journeys.

Speculation is rife that Swift will utilize this jet for her imminent travel to Tokyo, where she is scheduled to perform. This arrangement would enable her swift return to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the Super Bowl showdown in Las Vegas, where his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, will face off against the 49ers.

Swift's use of private jets has previously attracted criticism, particularly in 2022 when she was highlighted for her substantial private jet carbon emissions. Despite the backlash, a spokesperson for Swift clarified that she has invested in carbon credits to mitigate the environmental impact of her flights.

Furthermore, Swift has made efforts to maintain privacy over her flight details by enrolling in the FAA's privacy ICAO aircraft address program, known as PIA. As the "Eras Tour" continues to captivate fans worldwide, Swift's jet-setting lifestyle remains under scrutiny, balanced by her attempts to address environmental concerns.
