In a candid interview with PEOPLE, Nick Cannon, the dynamic 43-year-old entertainer, shared insights into his extraordinary life as a father of 12 children, born to six different women. His revelations coincided with the launch of his latest commercial for Buffalo Wild Wings, promoting the brand's "Buy One, Get One Wing" deal.

Cannon, known for his multifaceted career in the entertainment industry, delved into the complexities and joys of his unique family dynamic. Cannon, reflecting on the challenges of parenting a wide age range of children, from infants to pre-teens, remarked, "My entire life is challenging.

I don't live a normal existence, but I embrace it. I love challenges." He added that every day brings a new challenge, which he readily accepts.

Embracing Fatherhood's Joys

Amidst the bustling household, Cannon is a father to twins with Alyssa Scott – son Zen, who tragically passed away at five months old in December 2021 due to brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, born in December 2022.

When asked about the most rewarding aspects of fatherhood, Cannon expressed that nothing compares to hearing his children say, "I love you, Daddy." He cherishes these moments, from their first utterances as toddlers to the heartfelt words from his nearly teenage children.

He also finds joy in the simple pleasures of parenting, like big hugs and picking them up from school. As the calendar turns, Cannon is embracing the shift in seasons, saying, "I'm finally coming up for air" after a busy holiday period with his children.

He's eagerly planning for spring activities, including sports and outdoor fun. "As a dad, that's the kind of stuff you structure your schedule around, all of your kids' extracurricular activities," he shared. Addressing the curiosity about expanding his already large family, Cannon, with a laugh, told PEOPLE, "I'm chilling right now.

There's no plans on the horizon as of yet." He humorously noted the public's fascination with his family size, quipping, "It's so funny, everybody's always trying to get me to have more kids. It's like, 12 ain't enough?" This intimate glimpse into Cannon's life highlights his dedication and love as a father, embracing the challenges and joys of raising a large, diverse family while balancing a bustling career in the spotlight.
