In a surprising revelation on Slink Johnson's Instagram Live show, "Wake & Bake with Double S Express," iconic rapper Snoop Dogg disclosed his decision to turn down a staggering $100 million offer from OnlyFans, the renowned X-rated content platform.
The 52-year-old rapper's choice was deeply influenced by his respect for his wife, Shante Broadus, and their long-standing relationship. Snoop Dogg, whose personal life recently faced turmoil due to his daughter Cori Broadus, 24, suffering a severe stroke, shared candidly about the OnlyFans proposition.
"They were like, 'OnlyFans wants you to come on there, Snoop. You could do about $100 million. All you gotta do is pull that thang out,'" he recounted during the live session. However, the musician firmly stated that his commitment to his wife of 27 years was unshakeable, even in the face of such a lucrative offer.
"I got a Black wife. Ain't no way in the world she gonna allow me to go on there and pull that thang out for no amount of money," Snoop expressed.
Other Rappers on OnlyFans
While Snoop Dogg's decision sets him apart, other notable rappers like Iggy Azalea and Tyga have embraced OnlyFans, reportedly earning millions through their exclusive content.
It's noteworthy that OnlyFans, while primarily known for its adult content, also offers a safer, work-friendly section called OFTV, which could be a potential avenue for Snoop Dogg, should he reconsider. Snoop and Shante's romance dates back to their high school days, leading to their marriage in 1997.
Despite a brief separation in 2004, where Snoop filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, the couple renewed their vows in 2008, fortifying their bond. Together, they share three children: sons Cordé, 29, Cordell, 26, and daughter Cori.
Snoop also fathers Julian, 25, from a previous relationship with Laurie Holmond. In a heart-wrenching update earlier in the day, Cori Broadus shared on her Instagram Stories about her recent health scare, saying, "I had a severe stroke this am.
I started breaking down crying when they told me." This family development adds another layer to Snoop Dogg's decision, highlighting his role as a family man and a devoted husband, transcending his celebrity status and wealth.
