Internationally renowned rapper 2 Chainz, real name Tauheed Epps, experienced a harrowing ordeal when he was involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Miami. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Dec. 9, resulted in the 46-year-old artist being swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.

The gravity of the situation was made palpably clear when 2 Chainz shared a video on his Instagram Story. The footage, stark and unembellished, showed him on a stretcher, being maneuvered into an ambulance. In the background, the grim reality of the accident was evident with the sight of a damaged black car against a concrete barrier.

At this time, 2 Chainz has not provided any personal comments or captions regarding the incident. E! News, seeking further details, has reached out to the rapper's representative but has yet to receive a response.

Multi-Vehicle Collision Details

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, in a statement to E!

News, revealed that the accident involved three vehicles: a 2016 Mercedes-Benz, a 2013 Nissan, and a 2010 Toyota. While there were thankfully no fatalities, the spokesperson confirmed that at least one adult male was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The identities of the other individuals involved in the crash have not been disclosed. According to TMZ, which was first to report on the incident, sources close to the situation indicated that 2 Chainz was in stable condition following the crash.

It is understood that his vehicle was struck by another car. This accident comes amid a busy period for the hip-hop star, who was in Miami for the Art Basel Miami Beach event. Just hours before the crash, 2 Chainz had shared a video of himself at Marketplace 119, a newly opened seafood and meats market.

The rapper has been actively promoting his new collaborative album with Lil Wayne, "Welcome 2 Collegrove." Only two days prior to the accident, 2 Chainz had hosted a theatrical visual album screening for this project at the art fair.
