Last week, New York City hosted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they attended a Mental Health summit. The short trip left a lasting impression on the Duke of Suss*x, making him contemplate relocating to the vibrant city. This idea, however, hasn't sat well with Meghan.
Sources close to the royal couple revealed that Harry has been captivated by the allure of New York City, describing it as a place where he "feels so much more at home." The bustling streets, the diverse culture, and the city's energy resonate with the prince's aspirations and visions for his future.
The source from Heat Magazine mentioned, "Harry wants to move and sees NYC as a potential haven for their family." Contrastingly, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Suss*x and a former star of the hit series 'Suits', seems to favour the sun-kissed state of California, which she now calls home.
The insider added, "Meghan's joy at being back in California is palpable. For her, it's Hollywood all the way. The idea of relocating again, especially to NYC, doesn't align with her plans."
Relocation Rift Amidst Setbacks
Tensions reportedly rose between the couple, with Meghan finding it difficult to grasp why Harry would even consider leaving their current home.
"It would make zero sense to move, and she’s frustrated Harry won’t let this go," remarked the source. The idea of them contemplating another move is intriguing, especially considering the past year's events. Merely five months ago, the couple made headlines after an alleged "near catastrophic car chase" involving paparazzi.
This incident was followed by professional setbacks, notably the Spotify deal hiccup in mid-June. Nevertheless, with the Big Apple occupying a significant portion of Prince Harry's thoughts, only time will tell if the allure of New York City will be enough to convince the Suss*xes to make another significant move.
Whether the skyline of NYC or the beaches of California will grace their future remains an enticing question for royal watchers.
