n the entertainment world, friendships often emerge from shared experiences and mutual understandings. One such bond that has been in the limelight is between global music icon Drake and "Stranger Things" starlet, Millie Bobby Brown.

Recently, Drake's latest album, For All the Dogs, featured a track named "Another Late Night," which directly touches upon the criticism the duo faced due to their age difference. Back in 2018, when Brown was just ushering into the realm of celebrity at 14, their friendship became a topic of scrutiny.

On "Another Late Night," Drake mentions the young actress, rapping candidly about the judgments they've both faced: "Weirdos in my comments talkin' 'bout some Millie Bobby, look / Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin'" The song also features a guest verse from rapper Lil Yachty.

The initial unveiling of their companionship occurred when Brown, during an Access Hollywood chat, touched on the mentorship role Drake played in her life, especially regarding navigating the challenges of fame.

"He's honestly so fantastic—a great friend and a great role model," Brown expressed. Their bond, she iterated, was pure and supportive. Addressing the rumors, she later took to her Instagram, penning, "Why u gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U guys are weird…" Emphasizing the genuine mentorship and guidance she's received from veterans in the industry, she urged naysayers to shift their focus to more pressing global concerns.

Meanwhile, For All the Dogs boasts 23 impressive tracks, showcasing collaborations with industry titans such as SZA, Bad Bunny, 21 Savage, J. Cole, and several others. In a concurrent episode of his SiriusXM show, Table for One, the rapper alluded to taking a hiatus from music.

"I got some other things I need to do... I probably won't make music for a little bit," Drake shared. Hinting at personal health challenges, without delving into specifics, Drake conveyed his intention "to focus on my health first and foremost" and reassured fans that updates would follow in due course.

It's evident that as both stars evolve in their respective careers, their camaraderie remains unwavering amidst external critiques.
