KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Chiefs' star tight end, Travis Kelce, assured fans and the media that his budding relationship with music sensation, Taylor Swift, has in no way detracted from his commitment to football. In the midst of preparing for an upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings, he addressed the recent media buzz.

Speaking after Friday's practice, the final one before Sunday's showdown in Minnesota, Kelce stated, "Regardless of what's happening in my personal life, be it ups or downs, the football field has always been a haven for me.

I pride myself on maintaining a clear mind and complete focus when I'm here. This has been my sanctuary where I can stay dedicated and lock in."

However, the dynamic tight end did acknowledge that life outside the gridiron has been somewhat different since entering the spotlight alongside Swift.

"Navigating the world of paparazzi is new. They're everywhere, snapping pictures. But understanding the global affection for Taylor, it's a part of the package. Regardless, I cherish every moment, and the most important thing is it's not causing any disturbance within the Chiefs' organization." The international attention the couple is receiving is undeniable.

"It's on a global scale. But, I recognize I invited this attention and thankfully, I've been managing to find joy in it," Kelce added. In a more light-hearted twist, Kelce also responded to a jest by Green Bay Packers' quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers, referencing Kelce's endorsement of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, dubbed him "Mr. Pfizer." In response, with a hint of humor, Kelce commented, "It's a battle of Mr. Pfizer against the Johnson and Johnson clan," alluding to the owners of the New York Jets.

He emphasized the seriousness of his decision to get vaccinated, "I opted for the vaccine to safeguard not just myself, but also my loved ones, my teammates, and everyone in this organization. I completely stand by my decision and don't mind Rodgers' nickname for me one bit."
