Acclaimed X-Men actor, Hugh Jackman, was recently seen in high spirits at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, despite announcing his separation from his wife, Debora-Lee Furness, after a marriage of nearly three decades. On this sunny Sunday afternoon, Jackman was not alone. He was accompanied by pop icon, Taylor Swift, and his long-time buddy, Ryan Reynolds, to cheer on Taylor's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 54-year-old Hollywood stalwart donned a simple yet stylish look, wearing a black jacket paired with a matching tee. The star-studded game was graced by several A-listers including Blake Lively and Sophie Turner.

Jackman and Furness have been one of Hollywood’s enduring couples. They met on the sets of 'Correlli', an Australian TV show, in 1995 and wed in a beautiful Melbourne suburb the following year. They expanded their family, adopting Oscar in 2000 and Ava in 2005.

Jackman-Furness: Graceful Separation Statement

The news of their separation was unexpected for many fans and followers. The couple, however, chose to address the matter gracefully, stating in a joint statement to People magazine, "We have treasured our loving, wonderful marriage for nearly three decades. Our paths are now diverging, but we separate with gratitude, love, and kindness, placing our family's well-being at the forefront."

Professionally, Jackman remains on top of his game. Fans are buzzing about his reprisal as Wolverine in the much-anticipated Deadpool 3, which will also star his pal, Ryan Reynolds. The portrayal of Wolverine since 2000's X-Men has solidified Jackman's place in cinematic history, culminating in a standout performance in 2013’s ‘The Wolverine’. Although he hinted at retiring the character post-2017’s Logan, his camaraderie with Reynolds, stemming from 2009 and peppered with playful banter, has lured him back into the Wolverine shoes.

Reynolds, age 46, is equally excited to reprise his iconic role in this upcoming superhero saga. Interestingly, director Shawn Levy, at the helm of Deadpool 3, was also present at the MetLife game, adding to the confluence of the movie world and sports that day.
