Vanessa Bryant beamed with immense pride as her eldest daughter, Natalia Bryant, took her first bold steps on the runway during Milan Fashion Week on Friday, September 22. Taking to Instagram, Vanessa, 41, couldn't contain her elation, sharing, “Natalia, my heart swells with pride!

What an accomplishment, darling! Sending you so much love and joy @nataliabryant! Simply radiant in Versace! ??”. The limelight brightly shone on 20-year-old Natalia as she confidently strutted for the Versace Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

This debut saw her share the runway with fashion stalwarts like Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. Not stopping there, Natalia further showcased her modeling prowess during the Boss Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show.

Natalia's Gratitude and Nerves

Reflecting on the monumental moments, Natalia expressed on Instagram, “It's surreal.

I'm profoundly thankful for this opportunity. Feeling the wave of love and support has been overwhelming. ♥?" The University of Southern California junior, who had signed with the elite IMG Models in early 2021, candidly revealed to Vogue about her pre-runway jitters.

Her encounter with legendary designer Donatella Versace, however, became a calming balm. "Donatella's warmth and genuine nature made me instantly at ease. Her kindness truly eased my first-time nerves,” Bryant remarked.

Sharing her mother's wisdom on mastering the perfect runway walk, Natalia mentioned, “Mom always says, 'Channel the grace of Naomi [Campbell] but sprinkle in your unique essence. Walk with confidence and always hold your head high.’” Being the eldest of Vanessa and the late NBA icon Kobe Bryant's children, Natalia is no stranger to the spotlight.

Her younger siblings are Bianka, 6, and Capri, 4. In remembrance of her bond with her father, Natalia highlighted a cherished necklace during Vogue’s Beauty Secrets series last December, noting, “It reads ‘Slim’ — a childhood moniker given by my dad”.

Additionally, she proudly sports a gold medallion symbolizing the Bryant family's Mamba and Mambacita Foundation. This foundation endeavors to support underprivileged athletes, celebrating the legacy of Kobe and Gianna Bryant.

“This medallion is always close to my heart,” Natalia conveyed, "Its engraving? ‘Dedication makes dreams come true’”.
