Broadway sensation Kristin Chenoweth, beloved for her role in "Wicked," has embarked on a new duet of the heart, marrying musician Josh Bryant in a wedding awash with shades of pink. Once a steadfast bachelorette, the memory of a past engagement to actor Marc Kudisch that never culminated in matrimony lingered in the background.

But love, as ever, has a way of changing the script. In a twist of fate, Josh Bryant stepped into Chenoweth's world, and they soon struck a harmonious chord. Bryant, fully embracing the vivacious energy of Chenoweth, anticipated the wedding would reflect her radiant spirit, and pink would be its signature hue.

Chenoweth's Authentic Bridal Elegance

Chenoweth shared, "I aspire to show Josh the woman he's loved for five years on our wedding day. Glamorous yet authentically me." For Chenoweth, authenticity meant a departure from convention.

She graced the aisle in a Pamella Roland gown, a vision in sheer pink with intricate bow detailing and pearl-flower embellishments, eschewing the traditional white. The romantic ambiance of the venue echoed this sentiment, draped in dreamy white, pink, and champagne shades.

Opulent bouquets of calla lilies, garden roses, and hydrangeas complemented the scene. The festivities commenced with a rehearsal dinner at Capital Grille, featuring a tailor-made Baskin-Robbins cake. On the wedding day, an intimate gathering of 140 guests convened at a private venue, savoring the couple's deeply personal vows.

While the essence of tradition remained, Chenoweth’s characteristic wit shone through, eschewing the customary “obey”. As the night progressed, guests were treated to specialty cocktails, notably the "Wicked Margarita" and "Bryant Old Fashioned".

And in a playful nod to Chenoweth's favorites, Dunkin Donuts and 7-11 slurpees were on the late-night menu. The serendipity of their love story began in 2016. Chenoweth first encountered Bryant at her niece's wedding where his band, Backroad Anthem, played.

A subsequent meeting two years later, again against a wedding backdrop, sealed their romantic fate. Their connection deepened when Bryant made a surprise appearance at Chenoweth's North Carolina concert. With a 14-year age gap, their bond defies conventions.

Chenoweth often lauds Bryant for his unwavering support, making her feel cherished regardless of age. Their engagement in October 2021 set the stage for the culmination of their romance: a love-filled, pink-themed wedding celebration.
