Keke Palmer recently celebrated her 30th birthday alongside Darius Jackson, her partner and the father of their six-month-old son, Leodis 'Leo' Andrellton Jackson. Jackson, who's 29, shared an intimate video on X (previously known as Twitter), capturing a heartwarming moment where Palmer cozies up with little Leo.
The video showed Palmer tenderly leaning over Leo, who lay on a couch, playfully grabbing her finger. "Let 'em cook," an au naturel Palmer murmured, showering her son with affectionate kisses, eliciting giggles from him. Extending his birthday wishes, Jackson penned, "Happy Birthday to a one of a kind being.
Hoping your 30s brings you many joys & triumphs."
Jackson's Virgo Affection Revealed
In a subsequent Instagram Live session, Jackson turned the camera on Palmer, discussing astrological signs over a leisurely lunch.
"Virgos don't buy the hype. They are their own biggest advocates," he remarked. Palmer chimed in, jesting about his evident fondness for Virgos, considering he knows many personally. This led Jackson to list the significant Virgos in his life, including his mother, brother, best friend, and grandmother.
And, of course, Palmer, his "partner-in-crime." Expressing gratitude for their birthday lunch, the acclaimed "Nope" actress quipped to Jackson in a clip, "D, you always take me out. It may not always be my birthday, but you make it special.
Thanks for that." The duo's relationship, which started in August 2021, brought forth their son in February. Yet, all hasn't been rosy. A month ago, Jackson caused an online stir, criticizing Palmer's choice of a sheer dress for an Usher concert in Las Vegas.
Taking to social media, Jackson commented on her attire, juxtaposing her role as a mother with her outfit choice, which showed her dancing alongside Usher, the famed R&B artist. Subtly addressing the controversy, Palmer made a cameo in Usher's music video for "Boyfriend." Lyrics like, "Somebody said your boyfriend's looking for me...Just look for me wherever he sees you," resonated with viewers.
The video portrayed Palmer daydreaming of a dance with Usher in a casino, a nod to her missing his Las Vegas show. Closing with a wink, Palmer cheekily remarked, "I am a mother, after all."
