Renowned Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, made an intriguing revelation regarding the potential name of his forthcoming child with his wife, television personality Kourtney Kardashian. This revelation, as self-admitted by Barker, is one he’s aware may be deemed “unconventional”.

In the latest episode of Complex's "GOAT Talk," Barker openly expressed his desire to his daughter, Alabama Barker, to name the anticipated baby boy “Rocky 13,” despite understanding the peculiarity of this choice.

Barker's Unusual Baby Name Idea

The music icon's 17-year-old daughter reacted with playful surprise, noting her father's awareness of the unusualness of his name choice. Barker, 47, willingly agreed with Alabama, confessing the name’s unusualness, and revealing it as an idea that has been persistently recurring in his mind.

Eager to defend his unconventional choice, Barker provided a well-thought-out rationale. The name "Rocky," he pointed out, refers to Rocky George, the celebrated guitarist from the band Suicidal Tendencies, as well as being the title of what Barker believes is the greatest boxing movie of all time.

The number 13, meanwhile, holds a special charm for Barker, being his favorite number. However, Alabama, who remained unpersuaded, expressed her concern about her potential sibling facing challenges at school due to the distinctive name.

Despite Barker's intrigue with the name Rocky, it seems that he and Kardashian may have already decided on a more conventional moniker for their soon-to-arrive son. Kardashian shared the joyful news of their first child together during a Blink-182 concert, and subsequently shared a series of maternity photos on Instagram, teasingly captioned, “little drummer boy coming soon”.

Joining the excitement, Barker responded to the post, cryptically stating, “I already know his name”.
