In a star-studded event at the renowned British Grand Prix, Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt was spotted on the tracks, immersed in the adrenaline-rushing world of Formula One (F1). This event marked an exciting step in the production of his upcoming Apple Original Films' project - a feature film centered on the high-speed universe of F1 racing.

Donned in racing gear, the Academy Award-winning actor was more than just a guest, mingling with fans, indulging in photo sessions, and soaking in the vibrancy of the paddock area at the iconic Silverstone circuit, located in Northamptonshire, England.

The racetrack served as a real-world stage for Pitt and his crew, putting the dynamics of Formula One racing under the global spotlight.

Hamilton Joins Pitt's F1 Project

The project, an intriguing collaboration between the film team and F1, also ropes in the expertise of Lewis Hamilton, a distinguished former F1 world champion.

This strategic alliance guarantees an all-access pass to the star-studded cast and crew, promising an authentic representation of the sport. According to CNN, the movie's production includes filming an actual pitstop alongside the iconic circuit, engaging Pitt and his co-stars in the nerve-wracking action.

Pitt's presence in the official pre-race meeting at Silverstone on Friday was a delightful surprise for the F1 drivers. Hamilton hailed it as "probably the best drivers' briefing we've ever had," underlining the euphoria surrounding the actor's participation.

Pitt, not shying away from the thrill of the sport, reportedly revved up to speeds of 150 mph on the track. The film's narrative unfolds around Pitt's character, a former F1 driver making a comeback with a fictional team. Sharing the screen with him is Damson Idris, known for his role in "Snowfall," who will play Pitt's teammate.

F1 has witnessed a surge in popularity in recent times, much of it attributed to Netflix's behind-the-scenes documentary series "Drive to Survive." The real-life F1 championship is presently led by Max Verstappen, adding another layer of fascination to the sport and the forthcoming film.
