Mark Zuckerberg Challenges Musk to Cage Match: Awaits Location

In an unanticipated and somewhat humorous turn of events, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter's Elon Musk are reportedly on the verge of a high-profile confrontation. It all began with a jesting comment from Musk on a Twitter thread dated June 20th, which lampooned Zuckerberg.

Musk responded to a user’s comment about Zuckerberg's recent Brazilian jiu-jitsu accomplishments by saying, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol”.

Zuckerberg Responds: 'Send Me Location'

Reacting to Musk's playful challenge, Zuckerberg fired back on Wednesday night via Instagram.

He posted a Story featuring a screenshot of Musk's tweet, to which he responded in an equally cheeky manner, stating, "Send Me Location."

Intrigued by this unusual back-and-forth, Variety contacted Meta to inquire about Zuckerberg's cryptic post.

The reply from a spokesperson was somewhat enigmatic: “The Story speaks for itself”. This public exchange of taunts escalated when Musk, unfazed, proposed "Vegas Octagon" as a location. He went on to reveal his unusual fighting strategy, tweeting, "I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus’, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing." Zuckerberg's interest in martial arts isn't just for show.

On May 6, he shared images from his first jiu-jitsu tournament on Instagram. He penned a note of gratitude to his trainers, stating, "Competed in my first jiu jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team.

Thanks to @davecamarillo @khaiwu @intense0ne for training me!” Simultaneously, Elon Musk has made headlines for his decision to delegate a portion of his authority at Twitter to the newly appointed CEO, Linda Yaccarino.

In a tweet dated May 12, Musk expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership. “@LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app”.

As a result, the world will be watching closely to see how this unusual cage match invitation plays out against the backdrop of their respective business ventures.
