When Hollywood legend Robert De Niro (79) and his partner Tiffany Chen (45) graced the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival, the world took notice. The pair recently welcomed a daughter into their lives, marking this event as their first public appearance since becoming parents.

The Tribeca Film Festival, a brainchild of De Niro and Jane Rosenthal founded in 2002, has grown into a significant event in the global cinematic calendar. De Niro and Chen's appearance not only brought star power but also a personal touch to the opening night.

Kiss The Future: A Night to Remember

The night's highlight was the premiere of "Kiss The Future," a documentary championed by prolific actors and producers Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The film presents a heart-wrenching tale of an American aid worker living amidst the devastating four-year siege in Sarajevo.

His audacious quest to involve renowned rock band U2 to raise global awareness about the conflict forms the crux of the story. As they walked the red carpet, De Niro and Chen became the photographers' prime focus, their joy and camaraderie evident.

Chen stunned in a chic black dress complemented by a large beige cardigan and heels. Sunglasses and a pink Chanel bag completed her elegant ensemble. De Niro, always the embodiment of casual class, sported a dark gray polo shirt with a black jacket and pants.

Amid the flashes and fame, they found time to socialize with fellow attendees, rubbing shoulders with stars like Debra Messing, Brendan Fraser, Kate Siegel, Noah Centineo, and Stephen Kay.

A New Addition to the De Niro Family

The couple recently welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro.

Their joy and excitement are palpable. As Gayle King, who initially broke the news, put it, "They both wanted this baby. They're over the moon. She was brought here in love. He's very psyched about it." Indeed, this year's Tribeca Film Festival opening night has become unforgettable not just for its cinematic contributions, but for the personal joy of two of Hollywood's beloved figures, who made their first appearance as new parents.
