Hollywood actress Sharon Stone recently stunned fans on social media by sharing a picture of herself donned in a bikini, looking radiant as ever. With her post, Stone, once again, underscored her philosophy of embracing the aging process and reaffirmed her commitment to natural beauty.
Ready for Summer
Sporting a bikini and flashing a warm, confident smile, Stone captioned her photo, "Ready for summer". The 64-year-old actress was promptly flooded with compliments from her fans, many of whom praised her authenticity and timeless beauty.
"She is still one of the most beautiful women in the world", one follower wrote, while others chimed in with messages like "Completely natural. Kudos", "This woman has no complex", and "You are legendary". Stone’s commitment to maintaining a natural look extends even to her gracefully aging hair.
The actress, who had previously admitted to using botox, revealed that she no longer plans on pursuing any aesthetic treatments.
A Message of Strength
Stone’s journey towards this state of self-acceptance and positivity hasn't always been easy.
She revealed in a recent interview a disheartening incident where a man decided not to continue his relationship with her after she refused his suggestion to undergo botox treatment. Despite this setback, Stone remained undeterred, highlighting the importance of staying true to oneself.
Ever since surviving a brain haemorrhage in 2001, Stone has made health her top priority. “I don’t choose to make growing older a negative. I choose to get older,” she said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, adding, “Growing older is my goal ...
I was in an ICU [Intensive Care Unit] for nine days and the survival rate for what I went through is very low. I don’t need someone to make me feel bad about growing older. I’ll tell you what makes you feel bad: when you think you might not”.
The Road So Far
Stone's transparency extends beyond her personal beliefs and into her professional life. During the 43rd Muse Awards in New York, she shared a few insights about her breakthrough film "Basic Instinct". "At the time, I was still new in the world of acting, and Michael Douglas was a big star. I earned only 500 thousand dollars whereas Michael Douglas earned 14 million dollars," Stone disclosed.
