Bridget Fonda, former star of the 1997 film "Jackie Brown," has made it clear that she has no plans to return to the spotlight of Hollywood stardom. The 59-year-old actress, who has been nominated for several Golden Globe and Emmy Awards, was recently spotted with her 18-year-old son Oliver and husband Danny Elfman outside of Los Angeles International Airport.

Bridget Fonda's Hollywood Legacy

Bridget Fonda broke into the Hollywood scene at the age of five when she starred in the 1969 film "Easy Rider." Throughout her career, she has appeared in several notable films, including "Singles" (1992), "The Godfather Part III" (1990), "Point of No Return" (1993), and "Jackie Brown" (1997).

Despite her illustrious career, Fonda has been keeping a low profile in recent years and was last seen in public in September.

Living Life as a Civilian

When paparazzi approached Fonda and asked if she would consider returning to Hollywood, the actress, dressed in a casual grey-and-white striped sweater and dark pants, responded firmly with a resounding "No." When pressed further, Fonda added, "It's too nice being a civilian." The star of the series "Single White Female" has been rarely "caught" by cameras since she and her husband sold their two adjacent mansions in Los Angeles for a combined price tag of $14.6 million in 2020 and moved to a ranch.

Initially, they only intended to stay there for a month during lockdown, but ended up making it their permanent home.

Bridget Fonda's Health and Well-being

In 2003, Bridget Fonda was involved in a serious car accident after driving off an embankment during a heavy rainstorm.

According to the BBC, she suffered from "a slight fracture of two thoracic vertebrae," but made a full recovery. Despite her Hollywood legacy, it seems that Fonda values her privacy and peace of mind as a civilian above all else.
