The spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, the Dalai Lama, has recently been at the center of two scandals that have rocked the world. The first involves a video that has surfaced of him touching Lady Gaga's leg at a conference in 2016, while the second involves a video of him asking a child to kiss him and "suck his tongue" during a Buddhist event in India in 2023.

A video that was recently shared on Twitter shows the Dalai Lama sitting next to Lady Gaga at a conference in Indianapolis in 2016. In the video, the spiritual leader is seen reaching out his left hand and touching Lady Gaga's skin with his fingers after noticing her torn pants.

When he tries to do the same on the other leg, the pop star stops him by grabbing his hand and pushing it away with a sour smile. The conference was organized to discuss the benefits of compassion and meditation, and Lady Gaga and the Dalai Lama were pictured together during the event.

The two answered questions selected from social media about how to deal with injustices in the world, which were broadcast live on Facebook. "I'm one 81-year-old person with quite a lot of experiences. My experiences much bigger than your experiences," the Dalai Lama joked.

To which Lady Gaga replied, "You didn't know this, but I'm much older than you."

Asking a Child to "Suck His Tongue"

A video that has gone viral on social media shows the Dalai Lama asking a child to "suck" on his tongue and kissing him on the mouth during a Buddhist event with young people from the M3M Foundation in India on February 18, 2023.

In the video, the religious leader is seen inviting the child to come to his table, hugging him, and kissing him on the mouth, before asking the child to suck his tongue. The action has been met with outrage and has led to widespread criticism of the Tibetan leader's behavior.

British influencer Oli London, who posted the video on Twitter, stated that the Dalai Lama sexually assaulted a child and asked why the media is not talking about this issue. Days later, the spiritual leader issued an apology for his actions.
