Recently, a video of actress Courteney Cox cleaning her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame went viral on social media. The famous actress, who received her star just a month ago, was seen in the video running into the street after noticing people walking over her star and trying to clean it up.

This act of kindness by Cox was not only a nod to her famous role as Monica Geller in the cult comedy series "Friends", where she loved to clean her home and the homes of her friends, but also a clever marketing move.

Promoting Her New Cleaning Brand

The video was actually a promotion for Cox's new cleaning brand "Homecourt".

Her fellow "Friends" alum, Lisa Kudrow, commented on the video, saying "only the best thing ever". Laura Dern, who recently got a matching tattoo with Cox, wrote on her Instagram Story, "thank you, Court, for cleaning us all up good!

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while, but I needed the Homecourt surface cleaner to get these shining bright".

A Heartwarming Tribute

Cox's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was a heartwarming tribute to the actress, with Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow showing up to support their long-time friend.

Aniston, who was visibly emotional, said during the ceremony, "You’re one of the funniest human beings on the planet Earth. Nothing makes me happier than a Courteney joke and always making us smile. And thank you for enriching our lives with your work.

We are so proud of you". Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer were noticeably absent from the ceremony, but Cox felt the love from her friends and colleagues. As Reese Witherspoon, who appeared in some episodes of "Friends" as Jennifer Aniston's younger sister, said during the ceremony, "Courteney, we just want to say that we are deeply, deeply proud to know you.

You are the definition of a truly beautiful, talented, and, what’s most important, a truly good and decent human being … Thank you for enriching our lives personally". Cox's cleaning of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame not only showed her love for cleaning, but also her marketing skills and her strong bond with her friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
