On January 1, actor Jeremy Renner was involved in a serious accident while clearing snow, resulting in multiple broken bones. However, despite the gravity of the situation, Renner has shown that his sense of humor remains intact.

After being released from the hospital and announcing that he is recovering, Renner's friend and fellow actor Chris Evans decided to play a prank on him. In a tweet, Evans jokingly asked if anyone had checked the snowplow that caused Renner's accident and expressed his love for the actor.

In Response to Chris Evans

Renner, never one to back down from a playful banter, responded to Evans' tweet with his own brand of wit. He wrote, "Love you brother…. I did check on the snow cat , she needs fuel."

The Incident

On January 1, Renner was clearing snow when a snow clearing vehicle ran over his leg, resulting in multiple broken bones.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery. Despite the severity of his injuries, Renner has since been discharged from the hospital and is on the road to recovery. In a tweet, Renner thanked everyone for their messages of support and stated, "I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness.

Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens." Though the recovery process is expected to be long, Renner's quick-witted response to Evans' prank is a reminder that he is a resilient and determined individual.

As Evans himself said, "That’s one tough mf’er."
