Pamela Anderson Says Tommy Lee Was Her Only True Love

Pamela Anderson, the actress, model, and former "Baywatch" star, has recently shared an intimate insight into her tumultuous love life, revealing that her first husband, Tommy Lee, was the only man she ever truly loved. Despite her well-documented and often tumultuous relationships, Anderson reflects on her time with the rocker, with whom she shares two children, as the only time in her life when she felt truly in love.

A Stormy Relationship

Anderson and Lee were married from 1995 to 1998, a period that was marked by intense passion and drama. In an excerpt from her book "Love," which Anderson shared with People magazine readers, the star opened up about her romance with the Mötley Crüe drummer.

"We just wanted to have babies and be together forever," she said of her time with Lee. "My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love," she revealed. However, despite their deep connection, the couple's relationship was not without its difficulties.

In 1995, the couple famously made a tape during a vacation to Lake Mead, which was later leaked to the public. The incident had a profound impact on the couple's relationship and their lives, as Anderson reflected in her memoir, "It ruined lives, starting with our relationship — and it's unforgivable that people, still to this day, think they can profit from such a terrible experience, let alone a crime." Moreover, their relationship was marred by allegations of domestic abuse.

Anderson claimed that Lee had physically assaulted her and that the incident led to him being arrested and serving six months in jail for "felony spousal abuse." "The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life," Anderson wrote.

"I was crushed. I still couldn't believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night. We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies." The actress went on to marry Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007, Rick Salomon from 2007 to 2008, and then again from 2014 to 2015, and finally to her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, whom she married in 2020 and divorced in January 2022.

There were also reports that Anderson married A Star Is Born producer Jon Peters in Malibu in January 2020 for just a few days, but the actress later denied this. Despite the challenges and heartbreaks she faced in her relationships, Anderson reflects on her love for Tommy Lee as the one true love of her life.
