Prince Harry's Memoirs: A Personal Account or a Family Feud?

Prince Harry's upcoming memoirs have caused a stir within the royal family, with many speculating about the potentially damaging revelations contained within the book. In a recent interview with ITV, Harry defended his decision to write the book, saying that he felt it was necessary to present his side of the story and to set the record straight.

"After many, many years of lies being told about me and my family, there comes a point where...those certain members have decided to get in the bed with the devil, right? To rehabilitate their image," Harry said. "Well that is a choice.

That's up to you. But the moment that that rehabilitation comes at the detriment of others, me, other members of my family, then that's where I draw the line." Despite the potentially divisive nature of the book, Harry emphasized that he does not want to hurt anyone with its contents.

"Nothing of what I've done in this book or otherwise has ever been to any intention to harm them or hurt them," he said. Harry also expressed hope for reconciliation with the royal family, but only if responsibility is established for his decision to move to California with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020 and their estrangement from the royal family.

Excerpts of the book, which Harry says is "necessary for establishing historical facts" and brings him "relief," have already been released to the public, causing a media frenzy. In the excerpts, Harry does not hold back, criticizing many members of the royal family, including his brother William, whom he calls a "beloved brother and sworn enemy." Harry also accuses William and his wife Kate of being prejudiced against Meghan and accuses other members of the royal family of being complicit in negative media coverage of himself and Meghan.

Buckingham Palace has yet to comment on the contents of Harry's book, but denials and responses have already begun to appear in the British media. In an earlier interview with CBS, Harry revealed that he and William are not on speaking terms at the moment and that he hasn't spoken to his father in a long time either. The global release date for Harry's memoirs has not yet been announced.
